"Waanzinnig! Tijdens ons verblijf in Koh Samui 4 keer gaan eten. Tussendoor ook andere restaurants bezocht in Koh Samui, maar die vielen allemaal in het niet bij Kawin's kitchen! Allereerst de hartelijke vriendelijkheid van het hele personeel! En dan het eten.. waanzinnig lekker! Kipsaté, fresh springrolls, gegrilde garnalen met spicy mango salsa, spicy papaya salade, kingprawns met glassnoodles en zeker niet te vergeten de pineapple fried rice met kip. Wij hebben ontzettend genoten en als we ooit weer op Koh Samui komen weet ik zeker dat we bij Kawin's Kitchen gaan eten!!"

"A gem of a place to eat. Kawin's Kitchen, on the outskirts of Lamai, is a must. Atmosphere (go for the outside, take your shoes off) is great. The food is wonderful, particularly the curries (the Massaman, the Red Thai... beautiful). We went there 5 times during an 8 night stay nearby – it's that good. If you're in the area and looking for something to eat, just go here."

"Best restaurant in Thailand! The best food in Koh Samui! The duck Penang curry is one of the best meals you will have in your life! The flavours are incredible. Also highly recommend the pad Thai, the tempura shrimp and tempura calamari. The mango sticky rice was amazing too. This is our 3rd time this month visiting Kawins. The staff are so friendly, service amazing and the food is out of this world. You cannot miss this spot if you're visiting Samui."
